Vapor Barriers
EAI, Inc. is a certified installer of CETCO’s Liquid Boot® vapor barrier products. These advanced, cold-applied, water-based membranes prevent vapor intrusion by subsurface chemicals in the ground including: VOCs, Methane, Radon, and other inorganic and semi-volatile organic compounds that pose serious health risks.
Liquid Boot® can be installed in a variety of climates and on even the most complex structural shapes and penetrations — no nails, special mastics, tape, or welding required. These membranes form a strong bond with most prepared construction materials with its rubberized asphalt core. Creating a flexible and seamless barrier that can stretch significantly without compromising performance.
After vapor barrier installations, we perform smoke tests to verify system integrity and building protection.
