ROBERT C. CARVALHO, P.G.
President and CEO, Professional Geologist
Robert Carvalho holds a Bachelor of Sciences in Geology from Hofstra University and is a Certified Professional Geologist (PG). He has over 25 years of experience managing and directing a wide range of environmental projects.

Mr. Carvalho is responsible for overseeing the technical aspects of all projects and operations of EAI. He manages a staff of skilled tradesmen and professionals and regularly meets with all project managers to ensure each project milestone is met and clients are satisfied with the quality, technical capabilities, and responsiveness of the EAI staff.

Mr. Carvalho designs decontamination systems for sub-surface hydrocarbon spills and air stripping systems for volatile organics, directs well installation for groundwater monitoring and performs closure plans and groundwater modeling. He conducts health and safety inspections on sites and facilities at all levels of complexity, including single family homes, large industrial sites and high-rises.

Mr. Carvalho's responsibilities include the development of site remediation plans, environmental site assessment, compliance review, due diligence, sub-surface investigations and testing, environmental instrumentation and sampling programs, evaluation of laboratory analytical data, asbestos management and lead-based paint projects, construction inspection and preparation of environmental reports and specifications according to applicable federal, state and local regulations.

Robert Carvalho personally supervised the cleanup of 800,000 square feet in lower Manhattan following the World Trade Center collapse and the cleaning and decontamination and removal of the entire Holland Tunnel ventilation system. He has also supervised the installation of over 2,000,000 square feet of vapor barriers and sub-slab depressurization system (SSDS) installations.

Mr. Carvalho is responsible for EAI's legal, technical and financial obligations. His practice also includes business development for local, regional and international markets.

Mr. Carvalho's long list of certifications and affiliations includes membership in the American Industrial Hygiene Association and the New Jersey Association of Industrial Hygienists. He is an active participant in the New York State Department of Health Environmental Laboratory Approval Program (ELAP) and the National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) Proficiency Analytical Testing (PAT) Program for Phase Contrast Microscopy (PCM).

Mr. Carvalho is a frequent panelist, moderator and commentator on environmental, real estate and safety issues, and his articles have appeared in numerous publications.

In 2003 Mr. Carvalho received the prestigious 40 Under 40 Award from NJBIZ magazine, recognizing him as one of New Jersey's notable young business leaders. In June of 2005, Mr. Carvalho received the Gateway County Award from the Hudson County Chamber of Commerce recognizing him for his work in the redevelopment of Hudson County.
MICHAEL LI
Chief Estimator
Michael Li holds a Bachelor of Sciences in Mechanical Engineering from the Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, New York. He has extensive experience in mechanical design and construction, including venting and monitoring systems.

Mr. Li is responsible for the coordination of EAI's project estimating, including project assignments, tracking and reporting.
CHRIS SCALERO
Project Manager - Operations
Chris Scalero holds a Bachelor of Sciences in Biology from Montclair State University. Mr. Scalero is responsible for the management and coordination of EAI's daily operations, including project materials, personnel, and marketing/client relations.

Mr. Scalero experience includes development, technical supervision and implementation of safety programs, air monitoring (CAMP), testing, sampling and other environmental work on the East Coast and Northern Alaska. He is an OSHA Certified 80-Hour HAZMAT Specialist and 30-Hour Competent Person. He also has extensive experience in system design, installation and O&M programs.
VICTOR E. YOCHIM
Senior Project Superintendent
Victor Yochim has over 25 years of experience with on-site supervision of environmental projects. Mr. Yochim is a certified supervisor, heavy equipment operator, torch burner and plasma cutting supervisor. He is also an OSHA-Certified Hazardous Waste Supervisor and Job Safety Manager, and a 20-year member of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters.

Mr. Yochim is responsible for the direction of EAI's on-site supervisors and union tradespeople, as well as the supervision of all heavy equipment and trucking operations.
BRIAN BUZINKAI
Project Manager
Brian Buzinkai holds a degree in Computer Electronics from RETS Institute. Mr. Buzinkai has worked in the construction business for the last 20 years.

Mr. Buzinkai is responsible for managing and conducting daily operations at EAI jobsites, including project materials, personnel and maintaining excellent client relations. He also holds an OSHA 30-Hour Construction Industry Outreach Certification and an OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER Training.
JESSICA TELANO
Project Manager
Jessica Telano holds a Bachelor of Sciences degree in Environmental Biology from State University of New York, College of Environmental Science and Forestry. She is involved in various aspects of project management, sales and estimating to facilitate the swift and diligent execution of projects.

Ms. Telano is also responsible for managing and conducting Community Air Monitoring Programs (CAMP) in the New York and New Jersey area. Ms. Telano holds an OSHA 10-Hour Construction Industry Outreach Certification as well as a 40-Hour Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER) Certification. She also has completed courses in blueprint reading and cost estimating.
KRISTOFER LANT
Business Analyst & Accounting Department Manager
Kristofer Lant holds a Bachelor of Sciences in Business & Technology from Stevens Institute of Technology. He has previous experience in IT from Lehman Brothers and marketing at Thomson Reuters.

Mr. Lant is in charge of general bookkeeping of bills and invoicing along with performing all the duties of accounts receivable/payable and human resources department. Additionally, Mr. Lant performs in-depth costing and profitability analysis of all jobs. He is also responsible for licensing, insurance, payroll, union contributions and general IT issues.
AMANDA PETROCELLI
Sales & Marketing Engineer
Amanda Petrocelli holds a Bachelor of Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology.
Ms. Petrocelli is responsible for new business development, all marketing materials/client relations, trade shows/exhibitions, requests for services/proposals, project estimating, project oversight and pre-qualifications.

Ms. Petrocelli holds an OSHA 40-hour certification as well as the 10 hour certification. She has also completed courses in blueprint reading and cost estimating.
SHARON BUZINKAI
Executive Administrator
Sharon Buzinkai holds a Bachelor of Sciences in Criminal Justice from New Jersey City University. She has previous experience in the criminal justice field, working for a law firm as an assistant to many lawyers and paralegals; each working in a different area of the law.

Ms. Buzinkai is responsible for time tracking, contracts, data entry, insurance, pre-qualifications, marketing, advertising and trade shows/exhibitions. Ms. Buzinkai also performs administrative and office support as well as secretarial duties.
ZARAH THANASIDES
EIT Environmental Engineer
Zarah Thanasides, EIT, holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Engineering and a minor in Pure & Applied Mathematics from Stevens Institute of Technology. She holds an OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER and 10-hour Construction Certification. Ms. Thanasides is responsible for estimating, preconstruction management, design, submittals and project closeouts.
MELISSA THOMSON
Marketing Administrator
Melissa Thomson holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communications with a focus in Public Relations and Marketing. She is responsible for marketing, writing articles, writing and editing proposals, sales and keeping all project files and documents up to date with Sales Force. Ms. Thomson holds a 10-hour Construction Certification.

Ellen Hancock holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Labor Studies from Rutgers College. Ms. Hancock is responsible for new business development, client relations, conducting lunch/learns, presenting at trade shows/exhibitions, requests for services/proposals, project oversight, and pre-qualifications.
